The 2007 Ford Ranger is a part of the fourth-generation of the Ranger family. The first generation was produced from 1983 through 1988, while the second and third generations were produced from 1989-92 and 1993-97 respectively. The latest make of Ford Ranger has continued to be the same since 1998.
The coupling of swift handling and impressive fuel economy makes the Ranger a favorable truck on-road. It has the capacity of a full-sized truck with robust competence for towing cargo.
Offered in 2-wheel drive (2WD) and 4-wheel drive (4WD) versions, the 2007 Ford Ranger is available in two cab-styles: Regular Cab and Super Cab. The Regular Cabs can seat up to three passengers, while the Super Cabs offer seating for a maximum of five passengers.

| Right from the first drive you will fall for it |

Speed lovers will just fall in love with the Ranger. Its endurance in all kinds of terrains is quite remarkable.
The Ranger is available in 2WD and 4WD versions. Equipped with the latter, the Ranger can brave even risky, low-traction terrains quite easily. A power-assisted rack and pinion steering, which delivers effortless maneuvers and quick responses, directs the Ranger.
The 4.0-liter V6, teamed with 5-speed AT delivers good performance and an impressive acceleration even on elevated surfaces. However, it feels slightly underpowered with either the 3.0-liter V6 or the base 2.3-liter I-4 engines.
The front suspension comprises of a combination of independent short/long arms with stabilizer bar, coil front spring, and torsion bar, while the rear suspension consists of multi-leaf springs. The Ranger is equipped with gas-pressurized shock absorbers. This suspension system lessens the impact of irregularities on roads and offers a smooth ride.
Front disc brakes and rear drum brakes along with 4-wheel anti-lock brakes offer forceful stopping power with short stopping distances to the Ranger. Cruise control is standard on the FX4 Off-Road and FX4 Level II, and optional on the other trims.
Ranger is pleasant to drive and competent in all spheres related to driving dynamics. It is easy to handle and does not require much attention. It is a great vehicle, both, as a cargo carrier and as a fancy vehicle used to move about in city limits.
